ACMH Employees Make Fleece Blankets for Children’s Cancer Connections

As the cool weather begins to blow and the season of giving is upon us, Amber Fabian’s caring nature was a beacon of light to those in need. For those cool days and nights when children who have been diagnosed with cancer need a little extra comfort, Amber, her family and co-workers gathered together to make blankets for them.

ACMH Joins Nationwide Observance of National Rural Health Day on November 21

Audubon County Memorial Hospital is proud to join communities across America in celebration of National Rural Health Day (NRHD) on November 21, 2024. The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and rural-focused organizations throughout the United States set aside the third Thursday of November to recognize NRHD. This annual event is an opportunity to celebrate the “Power of Rural” and honor the individuals and organizations dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare needs of nearly 61 million people living in rural America.

Megan Steiner of Audubon County Memorial Hospital was recently honored with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

Trunk or Treat at ACMH

On Sunday, the ACMH Employees Club held its annual Trunk or Treat for their co-workers and families. Over 50 children came to trick or treat through the Halloween themed decorated trunks.
