Audubon, IA, September 15, 2023 – On Friday February 15th, Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics hosted a Chamber Coffee with General Surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Maire.
Audubon, Iowa- September 12, 2023: Last week was bittersweet for the staff at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics. Staff members gathered to celebrate the retirement of ACMH nurse, Linda Holland. Through laughter and tears and flowers and pecan rolls, everyone wished Linda well in her well-deserved retirement.
On June 2, 2023, The Audubon County Hospital Foundation (ACHF) celebrated a milestone as Foundation board members hosted the 25th Annual Golf Fundraiser.
Audubon County Memorial Hospital will be hosting SHIIP’s free “Welcome to Medicare” seminar on Tuesday, July 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. in the hospital’s Community Health Center on the first floor.
As the weather turns, the warmth of spring holds the promise of outdoor activities. One of America’s favorite leisure activities is gardening which can be difficult for those with limited movement or stamina. Occupational therapists help people engage in occupations, like gardening, that make life more meaningful.
Audubon County Memorial Hospital’s new speaker series initiative launched in March with Dr. Jeff Maire, General Surgeon at ACMH as a guest speaker for the Audubon Lion’s Club monthly meeting.
While the Easter Bunny has hopped away, ACMH families have great memories from Easter weekend at the hospital! ACMH staff members brought their families to the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by our Employees Club.
The little ones had fun hunting for eggs and candy outside and enjoyed being surprised by the Easter Bunny!
National Healthcare Decisions Day educates and empowers the public and healthcare providers to take part in important advance care planning.
As March came to a close, we were reminded once again of the importance of raising awareness for Colorectal Cancer. On Tuesday, March 28th, Dr. Jeffrey Maire was a guest speaker at the Audubon Lions Club meeting doing just that.
